A Hat for Sweetpea

I made a hat to go with the scarf I made for Sweetpea.  These are Christmas presents, so shhhhhh......  !!!! 

The pattern is The Blues by Valerie Whitten.  You can find it here on Ravelry.  I did change the pattern a little bit.  I used a DK weight yarn instead of worsted, so I added another row to the bottom and a scalloped edge to match the scarf I made her. 

I think it turned out super cute.  One kids hat and scarf set done and ready for giving, 2 more to go.
